It all started with the idea to build the e-commerce for services. Most services use PDFs to send proposals and make sales, but PDFs are hard to read on mobile, don't give you any useful information once opened, and you can't interact with them. So I built a WYSIWYG editor that makes it easy to create custom landing pages for each client.
Turns out, sending static PDFs wasn't perceived as a problem, so sending it as a website was a nice to have.
- For those who cared about design and aesthetics, they already had PowerPoint templates in place so changing a few parameters wasn't a big issue.
- For those who cared about workflow, there were mature, enterprise solutions out there.
