I used to spend a lot of time trying to keep up with the tech industry by browsing ProductHunt and HackerNews every day. So I made a daily curation service that delivers the best of PH and HN straight into your inbox.
It runs a cron job every day at midnight that scrapes rankings with puppeteer.js. After that, it builds the newsletter automatically and sends it through the Buttondown API.
I built this project in less than a week with the goal of building an email list (currently at 300 subs). I wanted an email list to launch new products to an initial audience.
